The Solto Collina Municipality building was a former Canossian Sisters convent. It is a complex developed around two courtyards made up of a series of bodies built in different eras.

The body overlooking Via Canzanico is a typical elegant sixteenth-century two-storey building with a dormer window which is rectangular in shape and follows the contour of the road.

There are two portals at opposite ends of the facade, one is in Sarnico stone with ashlars. The rear body is a “C” shaped, three-story building overlooking the valley. Its facade has a very linear design and dates back to the end of the 17th century and the beginning of the 18th.
